Despite the best efforts of Federation members, the Senate Wednesday night passed the bad bill privatizing Child Welfare Services.
The vote on E2SSB 5943 was 33-15 with one excused.

This bill really makes me laugh! In that it was PROPOSED by Democrats! And the union only supports DEMOCRATS! And now they are boning the union and what is WFSE going to do? Are you actually going to realize there is a TWO party system and NOT support the Democrats that voted for this?
Of course you are NOT! The only way this bill will FAIL is IF WFSE decides to tell those members, "IF YOU VOTE FOR THIS BILL, YOU WILL GET NO MONEY FROM US OR SUPPORT!"
