The Spokane Regional Labor Council will observe its annual Workers Memorial Ceremony on SATURDAY, APRIL 17 at 11 a.m. at Spokane City Mission Park, 1300 E. Mission, along the centennial trail.
Guest speakers include WSLC Secretary-Treasurer Al Link and L&I Director Judy Schurke. The ceremony will honor not only Washington's fallen workers, but also those in Idaho who lost their lives at work in the past year. Plus, participants will carry on the tradition of honoring the fallen warriors who died in 2009 “at work” serving our country. The event will be followed by a community picnic in the park.
